How much is shipping, and when is it free?
Shipping is free on orders of ₹999 and above. For orders below that, a flat fee of ₹49 is added at checkout, shown up front and never charged per pencil or per set. We dispatch across India from Jaipur.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We keep it simple and secure: UPI, paid in advance, and Cash on Delivery are the only two options. We do not accept credit or debit cards on the website. You will see the methods available for your PIN code at checkout.
What is your return window?
You can request a return within 10 days of delivery, provided the pencils are unused and in their original packaging. Approved refunds are processed within 6 business days. Full details are on our Refund and Returns Policy page.
My set arrived damaged or with broken cores. What now?
We are sorry, and we will make it right. Please film a single continuous unboxing video as you open the parcel, then email it to customersupport@coloredpencils.shop within 48 hours of delivery. Once we confirm the damage or a defect on arrival, we arrange a free replacement at no cost to you.
What is the difference between wax-based and oil-based coloured pencils?
Wax-based pencils lay down colour softly and are very forgiving to blend, which many beginners and colouring-book fans prefer. Oil-based pencils are a little firmer, hold a sharp point longer and resist the faint waxy sheen that can build up with heavy layering. Each product page tells you which type a pencil is, so you can choose what suits your paper and style.
How do I get smooth blending and clean layering?
Build colour up in light layers rather than pressing hard from the start, work from lighter shades to darker ones, and use a blending pencil or a light circular motion to melt the layers together. Softer wax-based cores blend most easily, and on toothy paper a few extra gentle layers give the smoothest finish.
Can I return an opened set for hygiene reasons?
For hygiene and quality reasons we can only accept returns of sets that are unused and in their original, unopened packaging, much like other stationery. The exception is a set that arrives damaged or defective, which we always replace under the process above.
How do I track my order, and do you have a shop I can visit?
As soon as your order ships we send a tracking link by email and SMS so you can follow it to your door.
