Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Colored Pencils, operating online as Colored Pencils from Jaipur, Rajasthan, collects and looks after your personal information. We handle your data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000, and we collect only what we genuinely need to process and deliver your order.

What We Collect & Why

When you place an order we collect your name, delivery address, phone number and email so we can pack, dispatch and update you about your parcel. If you contact us, we keep that correspondence so we can help. We use this information only to fulfil your order, provide support and meet our legal obligations, and never to sell your details to anyone.

Payment Data We Never Store

We do not store your full card number, UPI PIN, bank passwords or any similar credentials on our servers. UPI payments are completed through your own secure UPI app and provider, and Cash on Delivery is settled directly with the courier. Sensitive payment authentication always stays between you and your payment provider.

Who We Share With

We share the minimum data necessary with just two kinds of partner: the courier company that delivers your parcel, using your name, address and phone for delivery, and the UPI payment provider that confirms your prepaid payment. We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.

Cookies

Our website uses a small number of cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences and understand in aggregate how the site is used. You can control or clear cookies in your browser settings, though disabling them may affect features such as the shopping cart.

Your Rights & Grievances

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, and withdraw consent for its use. To exercise any of these rights, or to raise a grievance about how your data has been handled, write to our grievance contact at customersupport@coloredpencils.shop and we will respond promptly.
